FAQs
What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is an immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle, yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your mind and body.
Some see visuals, some experience a journey of emotions, some are so relaxed they fall asleep!
What do I wear or bring?
Dress comfortably, loose clothing and socks. You will be laying on a mat on the ground and a bolster is often preferred to place under your knees to better support your lower back during the session. Many prefer to use a blanket as your body typically cools down during this relaxing setting.
Should I eat or drink before?
It is really important to drink a lot of water after the sound bath to help flush out any toxins that may be released during the session. Be sure to also arrive well hydrated as it will help your body’s ability to absorb the sound waves. It is recommended to eat a light meal an hour before the sound bath so you don’t get hungry during the experience.
Are sound baths safe for everyone?
All ages can enjoy a sound healing session. Vibrations can affect everyone differently and people who have metal or heart implants, prone to epilepsy or pregnant may want to consult with your doctor before attending.
